Angel var ikke på udstilling. Hun havde PKD og måtte ikke stresses for meget. Hun skulle bare gå og have det godt.

Angel blev aflivet i 2005 grundet hendes PKD var blevet værre. Jeg kan simpelthen ikke beskrive hvad hun betød for mig og det var en sorgens dag da jeg måtte sige farvel til hende. Jeg havde da min første pomeranian som var ca. 6 måneder, men havde jeg kunnet vælge dengang, havde jeg hellere beholdt Angel.
Her er hendes historie fra min hjemmeside. Undskyld det er på engelsk, har ikke fået oversat det til dansk efter min hjemmeside har været på engelsk;o)
In the year of 2000 I had been without animals for 2-3 years and I was visiting my friend Pia, who was a persian cat breeder at that time.
She had a litter with 5 kittens, and one of them was a dilute calico girl. Angel was at that time sold to Norway for breed and show so I knew there was nothing to do.
I went with Pia for a trip to Copenhagen, she had to let some of her cats ultrasound to see if they had a kidney disease. This disease must not be in the lines. The cats can get sick if they are being exposed to stress or is having kittens. Pia is one of the most reliable peopble I have ever meet in this world of cat breeders and she was doing this ultrasound to be sure that her breeding material was okay.
In Copenhagen we found out that Angel had this kidneydisease, she was 12 weeks old. Right away Pia pulled the deal back from Norway and I got the offer to buy Angel. I did not had to think about this for very long! On the trip to Copenhagen Angel was in my arms almost all the time, and we really chose eachother on this trip.
I have not EVER had a cat like Angel in all my life - And I have had a lot of cats through the years. Angel was my whole life. She always knew when I was down and not feeling well, she was by my site through a lot of bad times of sicknes and very dark days and she keept my spirits up. She woke me up when I was crying in my sleep because of pain or bad dreams. Then she would put her paw on my cheek and wake me gently and just be with me.
Angel was a part of everything who happens in this house and she was behaving more like a dog than a cat. Those peoble who says you can't have the same relationship with a cat that you do with a dog, has not had a cat like Angel.
From the day she came in this house she has sleept with me in my bed, and until the last day. Allways beside my pillow.
She accepted Edna after only 2-3 days and they could play together so the house would shake.
Unfortunately it happens I wanted to take Angel to the vet to get her sterilize and a check up. She had never been sick one day in her whole life. Then it appears that many of her teeths are so rotten they has to be removed, but since she has the kidney disease she would not survice the general anaesthesia and I had to take a really heavy disicion to put her to sleep.
Maj the 24th 2005 I am saying goodbye to Angel. It was done in a nice and calm way. First I did not wanted to be with her, but I owed her that since she had taking such good care of me for 6 years and been there for me always. She kissed me on my nose as she used to, as if she was saying "everything is allright mommy".
I will never get over my Angel, not a day goes by without me thinking of her an crying for her and missing her like crazy. I just try to get through the days without her.
I will always be thankful to Pia for letting me have this wonderful years with my Angel.
I have made this page to honour a lovely little girl, who forever will be in my heart.

hvor var hun dog smuk, jeg kan sagtens følge dig har selv måtte tage den svære beslutning på min første dejlige exo. som blev meget syg.
Men en KÆMPE høj er sendt til hende herfra.

man åbenbart stadig i 2009 har disse fordomme om vores race!!!!
Jeg startede med at udstille katte i 1978 og har hørt på disse fordomme siden dengang, men jeg havde håbet folk var blevet klogere!

Sikke en dejlig kat at læse om, jeg føler med dig, det er aldrig rart at skulle tage beslutninger om at give sine dyr fred. Forhåbentligt er hun nu et sted hvor hun kan lege med mange andre katte, fanger mus m.m.
